Nominate an outstanding student you know for the Make a Difference Awards

We know that every single day SOAS students are volunteering, taking part in amazing student run projects, starting business ventures, and applying their enterprising skills to challenges in and around SOAS.

This year SOAS Careers Service and Student Enterprise will once again be celebrating the achievements and impact that our students have through these kinds of activities. SOAS students are active global citizens, contributing to and initiating projects that benefit a wide community, both locally and internationally, and we want to recognise those students and their contributions.

We need your help though. Please nominate a student or student group that you know for an award. All nominees will be invited to a celebration event in May, with prizes to be given out to the finalists in each category. More than that though, nominating those making a difference is a fantastic way to spread the word about what they’re achieving and bring together a community of change-makers on campus.

You can nominate students for three categories:

  • Outstanding Volunteer – for students who have shown outstanding dedication, achievement and leadership in volunteering
  • Student Project of the Year – for any projects that have made a real difference to the SOAS community and beyond
  • Student Enterprise Award – for students who have shown enterprising skills and an entrepreneurial nature

Nominate here by midnight, Monday 2nd May, and spread the word with #soasawards
